Highly visible in their distinctive orange and black uniforms, the Wardens have been carefully selected and well trained to make a real difference to the quality of life in the city centre.

 

Peterborough's Street Wardens are not Police Officers.   They do not have the powers of arrest.   Rather, they are ordinary citizens who provide a vital link between the local community and a host of local agencies, including the Police. They are the eyes, ears and friends of local residents, retailers and businesses.
